Nick was born and raised on a small farm in the foothills of Monroe, OR on the western edge of the Willamette Valley. Nick was born into a cowboy family. Nick's Dad was a bull rider on the PRCA circuit, raised bucking bulls and produced rodeos all across the Northwest. Exposure to farming came at a young age. Nick is the third generation of Johnstones to raise cattle.
Kaylee was raised in the Yakima Valley. Her great grand parents were dairy farmers in Wapato. Kaylee's grandfather raised Herefords in New Jersey after his service in Vietnam. Kaylee spent her early days living on an orchard in Sunnyside. Kaylee's Dad also raises herefords and instilled a passion in her for quality food made from quality ingredients.
Both Kaylee and Nick have worked together growing fruit commercially and raising cattle. However, most of their time is spent wrangling Hadley and Parker.
